PELLYVISION is a monthly cohesion of sound and vision. Alex Pelly synthesizes live video to accompany sounds from an artist of her choosing.

Shelley Burgon is a harpist, composer and sound artist, specializing in experimental music. She has an extensive history as an improvisor and an interpreter new classical music; performing the works of composers such as Pauline Oliveros, John Cage, Yoko Ono, James Tenney, Butch Morris, Berio and Earle Brown. She has had the pleasure to perform at renowned institutions such as the Whitney Museum, MoMA, Issue Project Room and Disney Concert Hall. She has recorded harp for Bjork, Anthony Braxton, Miho Hatori, Roberto Lange and for her former chamber ensemble Ne(x)tworks featuring Joan La Barbara. Her music has been commissioned by The Merce Cunningham Dance Company for the Hudson Valley Project at the Dia Museum, Ne(x)tworks, and multimedia artist Katherine Behar. Film credits include harpist on First Cow, Mission Blue and We Steal Secrets. She will be releasing her first full length record this year on Thin Wrist Recordings. Shelley received her MFA in Electronic Music from Mills College where she studied with Pauline Oliveros, Maryanne Amacher, Fred Frith and Alvin Curran.
